Ready for Some Football
Late August and early September in Michigan is like May in the Spring – perfect, sunny weather, pleasant temperatures, and cool nights.
It’s also high school football season, and we attend our Jackson High games to watch Aiden in the marching band. Every once in a while, the football team wins, too.
This year, I took along by big telephoto lens, the EF 200mm f/2.8, to grab some photos of the band on the field – and some of the characters watching, too.
In high school, I played trombone in the marching band and had to focus on playing, marching, and putting on the halftime show. Now, as a parent, it’s nice to watch all the other parts play out, too.
Shot mostly on the Canon EOS M6 and EF-S 24mm f/2.8, but also with the Canon 5D and EF 200mm f/2.8.
