Hyper Local Photography
Chris Harvey’s video on hyper-local photography came at a good time to accompany my post on the façades project.
His main points – you know your area, you can watch it change over time, and the tired glut of “honey pot” travel locations – emphasize why I love photographers who capture their local landscapes and communities.
I don’t need another set of photos in Paris, France. But pictures in some quiet location in the countryside? I’ll take that all day long.
